Zero Tolerance Policy

Mulaqat has a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). We do not tolerate any content or behavior that endangers, exploits, or depicts the abuse of children. Any user found to be sharing, promoting, or distributing such content will be strictly banned, reported to the appropriate authorities, and banned from all future access.

1. Age Requirement Strictly 18+

Mulaqat is exclusively for adults. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account or use Mulaqat. We employ strict age verification measures during the sign-up process.

  • We collect date of birth at registration to ensure compliance.
  • Any account found to belong to a minor will be immediately terminated.
  • We do not market our services to children.

2. Content Moderation & Monitoring

We employ a combination of automated tools and human moderation to detect and remove harmful content.

  • Proactive Scanning: Publicly shared images and profile content are scanned for inappropriate material.
  • Human Review: Our moderation team reviews flagged reports 24/7 to take immediate action against violations.

3. Reporting Mechanisms

User safety is our top priority. We provide robust tools for users to report any suspicious behavior or content directly within the app.

  • In-App Reporting: Users can report profiles or messages instantly via the "Report" button found on every profile and chat screen.
  • Easy Blocking: Users can block anyone they feel uncomfortable with immediately.
  • Email Support: Reports can also be sent directly to safety@mulaqat.me.

4. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

In cases involving potential CSAE or imminent harm to a child, Mulaqat will:

  • Securely preserve relevant data.
  • Report the incident to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) via their CyberTipline.
  • Cooperate fully with law enforcement agencies in their investigations.
